New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Thursday evening around 8 pm. The 92-year-old Congress stalwart was admitted to the emergency department of the hospital.
He is suffering from a lung infection and is experiencing difficulty in breathing. According to AIIMS sources, his condition is critical. He is currently in the ICU of the emergency ward and has been placed on oxygen support. A team of multiple doctors is attending to him, and further tests are being conducted to assess his condition.
