New Delhi: Former prime minister Manmohan Singh will be cremated with full military honours at the Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi, the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Friday.
Dr Singh will be accorded a Stae Funeral and the defence ministry has been directed to make arrangements for military honours for the cremation.
Manmohan Singh, the two-time prime minister and the architect of India’s economic reforms, passed away at the age of 92 at the AIIMS Delhi on Thursday after facing difficulty in breathing. He breathed his last at 9.51 pm.
