‘Filled with Optimism for Melbourne’s Akshardham’: Sheena Watt Joins Victorian MPs on Inspiring Cultural Visit to India

New Delhi: Sheena Watt, a member of the Victorian Legislative Council, representing Northern Metropolitan, joined a distinguished delegation of state Members of Parliament hosted by Swaminarayan Akshardham during their recent visit to India earlier this week.

The MPs received a traditional welcome and took part in a meaningful and immersive experience at the mandir (temple). Highlights of the visit included offering respects at the sacred site, admiring its intricate architecture, performing the abhishek of Shri Neelkanth Varni, and exploring the profound messages of Indian culture showcased in the Hall of Values and the cultural boat ride.

Expressing gratitude, the MP wrote on X “Thank you for sharing your faith & culture. I’m filled with optimism for our Akshardham Mandir in Melbourne.”
