New Delhi: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday said that every Indian is realising the power of governance today. Noting that India is no more dependent on any country, the Vice President said that the spirit of every India is elevating with spirit with whatever is happening in the country today.
Attending the gathering at the launch f the book ‘Janata Ki Kahani Meri Aatmakatha’, authored by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatrey, he pointing out that while Indianness is the identity of every countryman, Dhankhar said that no interest whether personal, economic, or political can be above national interest, and that nationalism is paramount for every citizens in India.

“Today every Indian is realising what is the power of governance, what is the vision of governance, what is the thinking of governance. Today we are not dependent on any country in this matter and what is happening in India today is elevating the spirit of every Indian,” the Vice President said. He added, “We are Indians, Indianness is our identity, nationalism is paramount, nation comes first. No interest, personal, political, economic can be above national interest.”

Earlier on Thursday, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said India always believed in global peace, fraternity, and welfare. Observing that alliances keep on changing in a multi-polar world, he noted that India has a “fly-by-night” concept.”The same can be seen with alliances. But Kautilya imagined then that this will be our shifting,” he said as per news agency PTI.
The Vice President, while quoting Kautilya said that whenever a neighbouring state is an enemy, the enemy’s enemy is a friend. “Which country knows better than Bharat. We always believe in global peace, global fraternity, and global welfare. And that is why I said our motto for G-20 reflected that hundred percent,” he said.
