New Delhi: As soon as the schedule for the assembly elections was announced, Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) began losing MLAs.
MLA Jogiram Sihag quits JJP
Five MLAs have left the party in just three days. After Devendra Babli, Anoop Dhanak, Ishwar Singh, and Ramkaran Kala, MLA Jogiram Sihag has also left the party.
Part of governing coalition
According to reports, three more MLAs may leave the party in the coming days.
The JJP won 10 seats in the 2019 assembly elections and was part of the governing coalition till earlier this year.
Haryana is scheduled to go to polls in a single phase on October 1, the counting of votes will take place on October 4.
