New Delhi: A man took to Reddit to narrate an incident he witnessed during a car journey. The man witnessed goons beating up a Zomato rider. However, he did not stop the car and interfere. Instead, he informed the incident to a policeman. He asked Redditors if he should have stopped the vehicle and helped the rider.
The man said that he and his brother were travelling from Naraina to Rohini by cab at 1 am when they witnessed a Zomato rider being beaten up by goons. The rider was screaming for help as two men with masks thrashed him. Meanwhile, two other men wearing masks were seated on a bike and watching the violence. The man told Redditors that they did not stop their vehicle as they prioritised their safety. “We didn’t stop our car because there were four of them, and they could have been armed, ” said the Redditor. Luckily, they found a policeman on the way and informed him of the incident. “We quickly explained the situation to him, and he called for backup before heading to the scene, ” said the man.

Further, the Delhi man told Redditors that the incident left him thinking if he should have stopped and helped the man from the dangerous situation.
