Swaminarayan Jayanti marks the birth of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, who was born in 1781. He is known for founding the Swaminarayan Sampraday, a spiritual movement that promoted values like non-violence, celibacy, honesty, and service to society. Even today, his teachings continue to guide millions through the presence of Gunatit Gurus, or self-realized spiritual leaders.
