The minister observed that all 45 products of the company— including soaps, incense sticks, and shower gels, saw increased demand across markets.
Patil noted that among regional contributors, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana led with Rs 85 crore in sales, even as Karnataka and other states contributed Rs 100 crore. “The company’s previous highest monthly turnover was Rs 178 crore in September 2024. On average, the KSDL’s monthly sales range between Rs 135 crore and Rs 140 crore, making May’s numbers a significant leap,” the minister said, as per the paper.
