New Delhi: TV actress Diljiet Kaur, who has been making headlines over her ugly separation with estranged husband Nikhil Patel, has now accused her ex-husband Shalin Bhanot of being an “absent” parent to their son Jaydon. She revealed that Shalin has not reached out to them for a year now and never came to them to ask what happened between her and Nikhil.
Speaking with Galatta India, Dalljiet shared that she has zero communication with her ex-husband Shalin Bhanot, adding that she has never stopped Jaydon from meeting his father. Dalljiet also alleged that when she asked Shalin to move to Kenya to be close to his son Jaydon, he agreed but disappeared thereafter.

Speaking with the publication, Dalljiet Kaur said that he hasn’t reached out for about a year so she has “zero” communications with him. She further shared that she tried to be amicable with him for nine years and never refused when he would ask to meet Jaydon but he never showed any interest in knowing what transpired between her and Nikhil in Kenya and what led to her return to India.
In fact, Shalin Bhanot did not even reach out to meet his son in a year and not even send a “single message”. Dalljiet further revealed, “It was always a pattern that he would reach out. I asked him you come to Kenya, stay with us, it will be good for Jaydon. He said yeah yeah. And then gayab.”

Dalljiet Kaur and Shalin Bhanot started to date in 2006 on the sets of the show Kulvaddhu and they tied the knot in 2009. After the wedding, they welcomed their son Jaydon. In 2015, the duo got divorced from each other, citing domestic violence as the reason. Later, she got married to Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel but they separated in less than a year of their marriage. Dalljiet accused Nikhil of having an extra-marital affair.
