Top quotes of PM Modi

  • Just 2 days ago, we all celebrated Vishwakarma Puja and today on the holy land of Wardha, we are celebrating the success of ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojana’. Today is also special because on this day in 1932, Mahatma Gandhi started a campaign against untouchability. Today, the foundation stone of ‘PM Mitra Park’ has also been laid in Amravati. Today’s India is working to take its textile industry to the top in the global market.
  • The country’s aim is to restore the thousands of years old glory of India’s textile sector. ‘PM Mitra Park’ of Amravati is another big step in this direction.
  • Through the Vishwakarma Yojana, we have pledged prosperity through labour and a better tomorrow through skill. Mahatma Gandhi’s inspiration will become the medium to take our resolutions to success. Vishwakarma Yojana is not just a government program. This scheme is a roadmap to utilise India’s thousands of years old skills to develop India.
  • The basic spirit of Vishwakarma Yojana is- respect, strength and prosperity. That means respect for traditional skills, empowerment of artisans and prosperity in the lives of Vishwakarma brothers – this is our goal.
  • There is another feature of Vishwakarma Yojana. The scale and the huge scale on which different departments have come together for this scheme is also unprecedented.More than 700 districts of the country, more than 2.5 lakh gram panchayats, 5,000 urban local bodies are together giving momentum to this campaign.
  • In just one year, more than 20 lakh people from 18 different professions were linked to the scheme. In just one year, more than 8 lakh craftsmen and artisans have received skill training. In Maharashtra alone, more than 60,000 people have received training.
  • We did not allow the Vishwakarma community to come forward due to the anti-Dalit, anti-backward mentality of the previous governments. He said that Bapu’s inspirations will become the medium to take our resolutions to success.
