Dehradun: Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday evening, invited PM Modi for a winter stay in Uttarakhand during the winter Char Dham Yatra.

Government’s special focus on winter Char Dham Yatra

The Uttarakhand government has given special focus to attract the tourists and pilgrims to offer their prayers at the winter seats of Badrinath in Jyotirmath, Kedarnath in Ukhimath, Gangotri in Mukhaba and Yamunotri in Kharsali. CM Dhami informed the PM about the arrival of devotees in a good number during the current winter Char Dham yatra season in the state. He told PM Modi that winter Car Dham Yatra will strengthen the local economy, besides promoting tourism in the state.

CM Dami received valuable guidance from the PM Modi

After returning from the Delhi tour, CM Dhami shared information about his meeting with PM Modi. He said that many important schemes related to the development of the state were discussed. He added that he received valuable guidance from PM Modi.

Invitation to the PM for attending National Games 2025

CM Dhami also said that he has extended a formal invitation to Prime Minister Modi to visit Uttarakhand for the National Games 2025. He also communicated to him about the preparations for organising the National Games 2025 in the state, besides the benefits it will provide to the youth.

CM Dhami presented a blueprint for schemes

CM Dhami, during his meeting with PM Modi, also presented a blueprint of various schemes related to tourism, employment and infrastructure development in the state and requested the Central Government for support for them.

PM Modi assured all help from centre

In a press release, CM Dhami said that PM Modi showed enthusiasm towards the state’s schemes and winter tour. Pm Modi assured him that the centre will provide all possible support in the development of the state. He hoped that his meeting with PM Modi will be helpful in the development of the state, besides speeding up the schemes. Expressing his gratitude to PM Modi, the CM Dhami said that his guidance and support will help take Uttarakhand to new heights of development.
