The Loni MLA, known for his controversial statements, often finds himself in the spotlight. During his inspection of juice stalls on Thursday, he said that unlicensed shops in the Loni area would be shut down within two days. He told the Muslim vendors that they should shift their businesses to places like Mustafabad and Seelampur and cater to the local population there. He also argued that people in Loni are poor and unable to afford juice.

In the video, Gurjar is seen asking vendors if they had the necessary permits to run their stalls. When one vendor shook his head, the MLA suggested relocating the shop to Delhi. He also talked about a recent incident in the Loni area, where a vendor was accused of mixing urine in the juice sold to customers. The police had reportedly found a litre of human urine at the vendor’s premises.

‘Illegal juice stalls would no longer be tolerated’

During his rounds, Gurjar instructed shopkeepers to either obtain the required licences or vacate their premises. He added that illegal juice stalls would no longer be tolerated in the area and warned that failure to comply could result in legal action, including imprisonment.

The incident comes in the wake of a controversy, where a video allegedly showed a vendor mixing human urine into the juice. The police confiscated a plastic container containing urine, which the vendor explained that he collected it due to the lack of public toilets in the market area. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath reportedly sought details about the case during a visit to Ghaziabad on September 18.
