School Holidays in November 2024: The festive season is yet to be over, as November is packed with lots of festivals from Chhath Puja, Guru Nanak Jayanti to Karthik Purnima. The schools, colleges will be closed on these dates so that students, teachers can take part in the festival and enjoy themselves. However, holiday lists may differ state-wise; schools will be closed from November 6 to 9 in Bihar for Chhath Puja, while schools in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh will be closed on November 7 for Chhath Puja celebration.
The schools will be closed on November 15 for Guru Nanak Jayanti, November 24- Karthik Purnima, Guru Teg Bahadur Jayanti. The school holidays were earlier announced on November 2 for Govardhan Puja, November 3- Bhai Dooj.
School Holidays in November 2024; Check list
Chhath Puja: The schools in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh will be closed due to Chhath Puja. For Chhath Puja celebrations, the schools in Bihar will be closed from November 6 to 9, the schools in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh will remain closed on November 7.
Guru Nanak Jayanti: The schools in Punjab will be closed on November 15 due to Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti. The schools will also be closed on November 16 due to the martyrdom day of Shaheed Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha.
Guru Teg Bahadur Jayanti: The schools will be closed on November 24 in Punjab due to Guru Teg Bahadur jayanti. The schools will remain closed in some states due to Karthik Purnima celebration.
Jagadhatri Puja: The schools may be closed on November 10 in West Bengal due to Jagadhatri Puja. Jagadhatri Puja will be celebrated from November 7 to 11, 2024.
