Chennai power cut on 6th November: List of areas to face outage from 9 AM to 2 PM

Chennai: Several parts of Chennai will experience a power outage from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday because of maintenance work. The power supply could be restored before 2:00 pm if the work gets completed before the scheduled time. Almost 50 areas will be affected by the power supply cut.

The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) informed about the power suspension from their official handle on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).  The post read, “Power Maintenance Notice #சென்னை On 06.11.2024 from 09.00 am to 2.00 pm power supply will be suspended at the following places due to maintenance work of power board. Power supply will be provided on completion of maintenance work by 2.00 pm.”
