Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao in an open letter to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi blamed the party for undoing the ten-year progress of the state in just one year and demanded an apology for cheating the people of Telangana.

The letter to Rahul Gandhi comes ahead of his visit to the state. KTR flayed the Congress leader for deceiving the people of the state by making false promises and not fulfilling them. He pointed that only the promise of free bus travel for women has been fulfilled so far.

‘Promises broken, protests galore’:

He stated that every group including farmers, students, government employees, police, auto drivers, victims of Musi, Hydraa have been forced to come out to protest against the government.

“After 300 days in government, Congress delivered nothing but disappointment. Not even half of all farmers received loan waivers but Congress party is publicizing lies to the public.”

KTR also questioned the intent behind the Musi River development project and suggested that it was meant to benefit the party leadership in Delhi. He also called out Gandhi for his party’s ‘selective criticism’ of billionaire Gautam Adani and said that Congress alliance with Adani Group in Telangana contradicts their criticism of BJP’s ties with industrialists.
