Bomb hurled at house in Chandigarh’s Sector-10, security ramped up

Chandigarh: An explosive was thrown at a bungalow in Sector-10 of Chandigarh on Wednesday, police said. Three youths who arrived in the locality in an auto rickshaw are being seen as suspects but are yet to be identified.

The explosive was hurled at house number 575 of the posh locality of the Union territory in the evening. The explosion damaged window panes of the house but no injuries have been reported yet.

According to preliminary reports, three persons were spotted arriving in an autorickshaw and hurling the grenade-like susbtance inside the house from the road. Police and fire tenders have arrived at the spot and further investigation is underway.
