Bengaluru: The Karnataka Police has booked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya and editors of some news portals for allegedly spreading false news over linking of a farmer’s suicide to land disputes with Waqf Board, the police said. The Bengaluru South MP took To X earlier claiming that a farmer died by suicide in Haveri district of the state, after finding that his land was taken over by the board.
