Netizens and social media users strongly criticised the leader for chanting such a slogan, even if it was by mistake. One of the users said: “Imagine the outrage if a leader from any other party had made such a mistake.”

The BJP is yet to release an official statement or clarification on the incident. The identity of the leader involved has not been disclosed, and it is still unclear whether the party intends to take any disciplinary action against him.
