Bihar SHS CHO Recruitment 2024: Registration begins for 4500 posts shs.bihar.gov.in

Patna: The Bihar State Health Society (SHS) has started accepting online applications for Community Health Officers (CHO). The Bihar CHO is a contractual post under the National Health Mission at the Health & Wellness Centre (Health Sub Centre). All the interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Society can apply online for the Bihar SHS CHO recruitment 2024 through the official website at shs.bihar.gov.in.

Candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria set by the Bihar SHS can submit their application forms until November 21 at 6 pm. The Bihar SHS CHO recruitment 2024 drive aims to fill a total of 4500 vacancies. The age limit is 42 to 45 years as on October 1, 2024.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must satisfy all the prerequisites including the educational qualification. The age limit is 42 to 45 years as on October 1, 2024. The age relaxation is provided to reserved categories. One should have a valid BSc (Nursing) certificate along with a six-month integrated curriculum of certificate in Community Health (CCH).

Application fee

The application fee is Rs 500 for male candidates belonging to UR/ EWS/ BC/ EBC categories. It is Rs 250 for male candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD. All female candidates need to pay Rs 250.
