Bengaluru’s several areas to face power supply cut on Oct 19 | Check affected areas

Bengaluru: Due to an emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 KV Shobha City substation, many areas in Bengaluru are going to face a temporary suspension of power supply on October 19. This supply will be cut between 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday.

The areas which will be affected by the power supply cut: Shobha City, Chokkanahalli, Domino’s Pizza in Paradise Noor Nagar, Ex-Servicemen Layout, Police Quarters, New Shanti, Nagar RK Hegde Nagar, Shabari Nagar, Kempegowda Layout, Nagenahalli Village, Regency Park, Esther Harmonic Layout, Balaji Layout, Slum Bird, Nagenahalli Gym, Bench Royal Wood, RK Hegde Nagar, Arkavathi Layout Thanisandra, Bellahalli Village, Mittaganahalli, Kogilu Village, Thirumenahalli Village, Belahalli, Vidhan Soudha Layout, and nearby areas.

Repair work on Transformer-01 to affect these areas

In the same way, due to the emergency repair work on 31.5 MVA power transformer-01 at the 66/11 KV Brigade Metropolis Station, there will be a halt in power supply on Saturday, October 19, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The areas which will be affected due to the supply cut: HG Sheela Building Outer Ring Road, Brigade Metropolis Def Block, Brigade Metropolis Ghi Block, Brigade Nalpad Building, Devasandra Industrial Estate, WFD Main Road Mall, NetApp India Pvt Ltd, Brigade Metropolis ABC Block, WFD Main Road, Darga Petals Apartment, Outer Ring Road, Fern City, Fern City Road, Fern Paradise, Kusumalloys Data Center Kundanhalli Main Road (Sattva Data Center), and Bagmane ITP area.

Repair work on Transformer-02 to affect these areas

Repair work will be carried out on 31.5 MVA power transformer-02 at the 66/11 KV Brigade Metropolis Station, due to which power supply will be cut in some areas on Saturday, October 19, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The areas that will be affected from the supply cut: Doddanekundi Industrial Area, Alpine Eco Road, Kundanhalli Main Road, Ashraya Layout, Friends Layout, Brigade Metropolis Common Area Layout, United Oxygen Apartment Cauveri Nagar Entrance, Sir M Visvesvaraya Industrial Area, Prestige Techno Star IT Park area.
