Bengaluru techie suicide: Atul Subhash’s in-laws threatens journalists over coverage

New Delhi: A video is going viral wherein the brother-in-law of slain Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash is seen threatening media persons over the coverage of the issue that has sparked outrage across the country over the techie’s suicide.

The 34-year-old software engineer hanged himself at his accommodation in Bengaluru on Monday alleging harassment by his estranged wife and her parents. Before his death, Atul Subhash wrote a 24-page suicide note as well as recorded a 90-minute video detailing his alleged harassment by his wife and her parents.

Viral video shows Atul’s in-laws aggression

The video which is now going viral shows the techie’s mother-in-law and her son shouting and threatening the mediapersons not to talk to them over the issue. In the video, the reporters request them to come down and talk to them but they angrily rejected their request to present their side of the argument.

Atul Subhash’s brother-in-law could be heard from their balcony asking the reporters to shut their camera.
