It was reported that his wife Nikita Singhania had filed 9 cases against him for attempted murder, unnatural sexual acts, and harassment.

In another incident from Bengaluru,  a constable PC Thippanna committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Baiyyappanahalli after he was allegedly harassed by his wife and father-in-law in December last year. In his suicide note, Thippanna mentioned that his father-in-law had insulted and abused him saying, “You go and die, my daughter will be fine.”

In another suicide case reported in  Bengaluru, constable PC Thippanna, tired of being harassed by his wife and father-in-law, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Baiyyappanahalli.
