According to the police, the couple fought again after the children went to school at 9 am, and in a fit of rage, Basavachari fatally hit Suma with the dumbbell. Once he realised what happened, he killed himself. Basavachari reportedly owned a welding shop, while Suma was a homemaker. The case is being probed further by the police.
