Bengaluru: A disturbing video is surfacing on the internet where a family coming from Diwali shopping was attacked by two men on October 31. In the incident which took place at 9:30 pm, a 5-year-old boy was injured in his forehead and was hospitalised.

Stone hits child’s foreheadPrimary suspect arrested

A user named Anoop George in a post on social media platform X wrote that his car was attacked by rowdies near Amrutha College Kasavanahall. He added that they threw stones at his car and attacked his child who has been hospitalised. He wrote that the incident took place at Parappana Agrahara police limit.

In the a 32 second clip, two man are seen knocking the windows of the car. After the man driving the car does not open the door the miscreants attacked the car. The noise of loud cry of the boy can be heard after the attack. The man can be heard saying in Hindi, “Mera baccha tha wahan” which translated to, “My child was there.”

Stone hits child’s forehead

Posting the video on social media he wrote, “Rowdies attacked my car near Amrutha College Kasavanahall. They threw stone at my car and my child is hospitalised.” As per a report by Deccan Herald, Anoop said, “Two men on bike overtook my car and stopped it. They asked me to lower the window and hit the windshield glass with stone. The rock hit on forehead of my 5-year-old child who was hospitalised and has got stitches.

Primary suspect arrested

After George reported the incident to police, one primary suspect has been arrested. The search for another accused is still being carried out by the police. The primary suspect has been identified as Krishna Moorthy aged 24, as reported by Jagran News. The suspect told the police that the car touched his motorcycle in Bellandur and it was damaged. He said that the car left without stopping.
