New Delhi: The reality show, Bigg Boss 18, not only is about fights and ugly drama but also unfolds the real person behind these renowned faces and the struggles they have been through. In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 18, contestant Alice Kaushik shared chilling details about her father’s suicide.
Alice opened up to her housemate Nyrraa Banerji when they were sitting in the garden area alone. She recalled that her parents used to have ugly fights and admitted that he was “aggressive” by nature. She further revealed that though he was violent, she was closer to him because he could understand her emotions.
Alice Kaushik recalls her father’s suicide day
Alice Kaushik recalled the day she got the news of her father’s suicide. She shared that one day, her mother asked her to call her father and check on him. When she called, someone else picked up his phone and said that he had died by suicide. She couldn’t believe that her dada had passed away and was in a state of shock when she received a photo of her father’s mortal remains on WhatsApp and she couldn’t get the image out of her head for months. Alice also told Nyrraa that her father was even violent with her.

She also recalled what cops told her about her father’s suicide when they brought his dad home for last rites. She revealed that the police officer handed her the rope and said that he committed suicide with this rope. She shared, “I don’t know why did he do that, why did he hand over that rope to me. Maybe he did not have any feelings or emotions.”
Alice also shared that her mother remarried twice and she was ousted from the house as her stepfather was not a nice man. In 2023, Alice’s mother passed away.
