Baba Siddique Death News: Senior NCP leader Baba Siddique, from Ajit Pawar’s faction, was shot dead near his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East on Saturday evening. The shooting occurred around 9:15 pm, with multiple rounds fired, one striking Siddique in the chest. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Actor Sanjay Dutt also visited the hospital. Police arrested two suspects, with one still at large. The suspects are reportedly from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Siddique, a former Congress MLA and minister, had recently joined Ajit Pawar’s faction ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections.
