New Delhi: In a major update, Kanguva producer KE Gnanavel Raja revealed that SS Rajamouli’s directorial, Baahubali 3 is already in the planning stage. Yes, you read it right! Baahubali 3 is happening and it’s confirmed. Baahubali 3 will be a sequel to Baahubali: The Conclusion.
According to a report by Desimartini, producer KE Gnanavel spilled some beans on the movie, Baahubali 3. Reportedly, the film is being planned and the team has discussed ideas in a meeting held recently. Let’s dig into more details!
What does KE Gnanavel say about Baahubali 3?
According to Desimartini report, the producer said that Baahubali 3 is currently in the planning stages and the makers are planning to work on Baahubali 3 after a gap. He also revealed that he got to know about the film just last week. He further said that just like Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar and Kanguva, Baahubali’s sequel is also being made after a gap.
Earlier, Vijayendra Prasad and Prabhas denied the possibility of Baahubali 3. However, we are not sure if Prabhas will reprise his role as Mahendra Baahubali and Amarendra Baahubali.

On the other hand, SS Rajamouli expressed his desire to expand the Baahubali universe. Speaking to the media, Rajamouli said in May while promoting Baahubali: Crown of Blood, “As filmmakers, we must step it up and explore all mediums. People like books, novels, games, anime (Asian animation). The idea is to take the story of Baahubali to people like them. And yet, look at us. We are still talking about the cliffhanger of Baahubali: The Beginning and how the film was effective when told in two parts. That mindset needs to change.”
