Artificial rain in Delhi?: AAP govt writes to Centre as AQI remains ‘severe plus’

New Delhi: Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Tuesday wrote a letter to the Centre and urged the Union Environment Ministry to make arrangement for artificial rain as the national capital continues to battle deadly smog. Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 488 at 9 am, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data.

A thick grey haze choked Delhi for the third straight day on Tuesday.
