New Delhi: Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been rumoured for a while that they have broken up. However, neither of the two have confirmed nor denied the rumours. A day after Malaika Arora’s birthday on October 23, Arjun Kapoor shared a cryptic post on Instagram, sparking speculations over their breakup once again. Unlike previous years, Arjun didn’t share any mushy posts on Malaika’s birthday.
After dating for six years, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora seemed to have hit rock bottom and have reportedly parted ways. Amid the breakup rumours, Arjun Kapoor was seen standing strong with Malaika during her father’s death.
Arjun Kapoor’s cryptic post
Recently, Arjun Kapoor dropped a cryptic post a day after Malaika Arora’s birthday. Taking to Instagram Stories, he shared a quote from The Lion King movie which read, “Never forget who you are – The Lion King.” Netizens couldn’t help but connect it with his rumoured breakup with Malaika Arora and wondered if he was hinting at his state of mind.
Earlier, a Pinkvilla report claimed that the duo have parted ways mutually. The publication quoted a source saying that they will maintain a dignified silence on the matter and will continue to hold a “special place” in each other’s hearts. The insider also added that their relationship had “run its course but that doesn’t mean there is any blood blood between them”.
Arjun Kapoor’s work front
Arjun Kapoor is all set to play a villain, that resonates with Ramayana’s Ravan, in Rohit Shetty’s directorial, Singham Again. The film has an ensemble star cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff, among others. It is scheduled to be released on November 1. The film will be witnessing a big box office clash with Kartik Aaryan starter Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Vijay Raaz.
