Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the exam schedule for Group 2 Mains exam. It has announced that the APPSC Group 2 Mains exam will be held on January 5, 2025. The written exam will be held in two shifts in a total of 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. All the candidates who qualify in the APPSC Group 2 Prelims exam are eligible to appear for the Mains exam. The exam authority has also released an official notice regarding the same.
The Commission has announced the APPSC Group 2 Mains exam date 2024 was fixed taking the consideration of the DSC examination, SSC and Intermediate Board examinations. More than 92,000 candidates qualified for the Mains exam. It is likely to release the APPSC Group 2 Mains hall ticket 2024 in the last week of December. Aspirants can download APPSC Group 2 Mains admit card 2024 with their login credentials only on the official website at portal-psc.ap.gov.in. The APPSC Group 2 recruitment 2024 drive aims to fill a total of 905 vacancies.

The official notice reads, “Since around 1 Lakh candidates will be appearing for this examination, the date was fixed taking into consideration the forthcoming DSC examination, the SSC and Intermediate Board Examinations.”
Earlier, the Commission has conducted the APPSC Group 2 Prelims exam on February 25, 2024. It has released provisional APPSC Group 2 Prelims answer key and allowed candidates to raise objections against the same. The APPSC Group 2 Prelims result was released based on the final answer key.
