AP: 25 people injured after RTC bus falls into a ravine near Pulivendula

An APSRTC Palle Velugu bus fell into a 30-feet-deep ravine near Pulivendula of YSR Kadapa district, causing injuries to 25 passengers on board on Wednesday, October 23, tv9 telugu reported.

The accident happened when the driver lost control of the bus when he was trying to avoid oncoming vehicles. The bus was on its way to Pulivendula from Kadiri when the accident occurred near a local dumping yard.

Out of the 25 passengers, two people are said to be in critical condition. The injured were admitted to Pulivendula government hospital for treatment. The bus reportedly skidded off the road and plunged into the deep valley.

Local politicians and officials visited the hospital to check on the injured victims and asked doctors to provide best possible care. An investigation is ongoing in the incident.
