Dehradun: Top dignitaries, including President, PM, Raksha Mantri, Home Minister, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha have condoled the loss of lives in the road accident in Uttarakhand.

The incident occurred when a bus fell into a deep gorge at Marchula on the border of Almora and Pauri this morning. This tragic incident has so far claimed 36 lives while number of injured persons is reached to 19.

President Murmu condoled the loss of lives in the road accident

President Draupadi Murmu has condoled the loss of lives in the bus accident in Pauri district of Uttarakhand. “The news and death of many people, including women and children, in a road accident in Uttarakhand is heart wrenching. I express my deep condolences to the bereaved families, and I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured persons,” President Murmu wrote on her official account on X.

Local administration is taking every step towards relief and rescue under the supervision of the state government, PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives in the road accident in Uttarakhand. “My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the road accident in Uttarakhand. Also, I wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured. Under the supervision of the state government, the local administration is taking every possible step towards relief and rescue,” PM Modi’s message was posted on the official account of the PMO on X.

Defence Minister Rajnath’s condolence message

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also condoled the loss of lives in the road accident. “Extremely saddened to know about the horrific road accident that took place in Almora of Uttarakhand. Many people lost their lives in this incident. I express my condolences to the families of the deceased. Simultaneously, I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured,” Singh wrote on X.

उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा में हुई बस दुर्घटना अत्यंत दुःखद है। इस हादसे में अपना जीवन गँवाने वाले लोगों के परिजनों के प्रति संवेदनाएँ व्यक्त करता हूँ। स्थानीय प्रशासन द्वारा घायलों को त्वरित उपचार उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है। ईश्वर से घायलों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूँ।

Union Home Minister also condoled the death of many people in the road accident

Union Home Minister Amit Shah condoled the loss of lives in the Almora bus accident. “The bus accident in Almora is extremely sad. I express my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this incident. The local administration is providing quick treatment to the injured. I pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured,” Shah wrote on X in Hindi.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appeals Congress workers to provide cooperation in the relief and rescue works

Senior Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi, who is also leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, also condoled the loss of lives in the road accident in Uttarakhand. “The death of many people in the horrific road accident in Almora of Uttarakhand is extremely sad. I express my deepest condolences to all bereaved families and wish for the speedy recovery of injured persons. The administration is expected to provide full support to all the affected families. I appeal to the Congress workers to provide all possible cooperation in relief and rescue works,” Gandhi wrote on the X.
