New Delhi: As soon as Team India’s T20I squad landed in Durban to kickstart their preparations for the four-match T20I series, they made use of their transit time getting involved in a fun-filled Q&A session. The session was about testing the players’ general knowledge about the country that they are touring. Abhishek Sharma and Axar Patel took on the role of asking questions while the other players put their brains to work.

The team departed for the Rainbow Nation on Sunday as Suryakumar Yadav confirmed the development with an Instagram post. As the team touched down in Durban, they engaged in a trivia quiz. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the video on its social media handles as fans enjoyed watching the Indian team doing something out of the box. The fans even wished Suryakumar Yadav and co. “all the best” for the upcoming assignment.

The post was captioned, “Touchdown Durban. How good is Team India’s knowledge of their next destination.” The video began with Abhishek Sharma asking Tilak Varma about how many capitals does South Africa have. Indian all-rounder Axar Patel was seen asking Arshdeep Singh about the national animal of South Africa. It was a true or false session which made it even more interesting. The video also featured snippets of Surya and Hardik Pandya.
