Ahilyabai Holkar will always be remembered for her contributions towards society: PM Modi in Bhopal

Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday participated in Mahila Sashaktikaran Maha Sammelan in Bhopal. The event commemorated the 300th birth anniversary of social reformer Ahilyabai Holkar. During the event he inaugurated a number of projects. Among the projects which have been launched include Super Priority Corridor of the Indore Metro, newly developed airports in Datia and Satna.

Addressing the event he said, “Today is the 300 birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar. She used to say that the real meaning of governance is to serve the people and improve their lives. Today’s programme’s promotes her vision. He name itself increases respects. She has proved that If there is a desire, no matter how tough the situation is, the desired goal can be achieved.”
