New Delhi, July 21, 2025: Ministry of Tribal affairs (MoTA) organised Delhi Chapter of the Adi Shapath, a half-day interactive session with stakeholders working for the wellbeing and upliftment of tribal people across the country, on 21st July 2025 at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. More than 20 partners including PSUs, private companies, donor organizations and foundations from Delhi-NCR area participated in the event.

The event was organized as a part of MoTA’s outreach for wider public participation (Janbhagidari) for maximising the attention and investment in tribal areas. This includes engaging with CSR donors, volunteer organizations, bilateral & multilateral agencies to map their commitment with the aspirations of tribal people.

The session highlighted ongoing projects by various partners in tribal areas and underscored the role of a collaborative approach for welfare of tribal people. It further stressed the need for creation of a national level platform both to showcase the ongoing projects and to present more opportunities in an organized manner.

The industry representatives expressed their enthusiasm to collaborate with the Ministry and widen the scope of their ongoing projects to a national level reach and scope. The sectors of health, education, livelihood and cultural preservation were identified as the major areas for collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Shri T. Roumuan Paite, Joint Secretary, MoTA and Chairman and Managing Director, NSTFDC and, Shri Anant Prakash Pandey, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, along with other ministry officials. Representatives from companies like Oil India, HUDCO, GAIL, Tata Trust, Gates Foundation, American Indian Foundation, HCL Technology, Bharti Airtel, and others participated in the meeting.
