Adani group chairman Gautam Adani attends Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj

New Delhi: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, arrived in Prayagraj on Tuesday to participate in the Maha Kumbh 2025. Expressing his enthusiasm, Adani stated, “I am very excited,” and embarked on a series of spiritual activities.

Adani’s itinerary includes a visit to the ISKCON camp, where special preparations were made for his arrival. He will also offer prayers at the renowned Bandhwa Hanuman statue and participate in serving food at the community kitchen (Bhandara), which feeds thousands of pilgrims daily.

The Adani Group has partnered with ISKCON and Gita Press to provide substantial support for the Maha Kumbh. Their collaborative efforts include serving one lakh devotees daily with meals consisting of roti, dal, rice, vegetables, and sweets. They are also distributing one crore Aarti offerings to pilgrims, with Adani personally involved in these initiatives.

To enhance accessibility for pilgrims, particularly the elderly, differently-abled, and children, the Adani Group has deployed battery-operated vehicles and golf carts within the Kumbh grounds. The Maha Kumbh 2025 is expected to draw millions of devotees globally.
