New Delhi: The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi on Wednesday registered a case against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders and former ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain. They have been accused of corruption in the construction of over 12,000 classrooms during their tenure in Delhi government.

According to officials, the project involved the construction of 12,748 classrooms or school buildings, with an overall cost of around Rs 2,892 crore. However, it has been alleged that this work was done at highly inflated prices. On average, each classroom cost about Rs 24.86 lakh, while such rooms could typically be built for around Rs 5 lakh.
