‘AAP fighting for rights of Purvanchalis’: Sanjay Singh slams BJP’s allegations

New Delhi: A day after Bharatiya Janata Party leader (BJP) Manoj Tiwari accused the Aam Admi Party (AAP) and its leader Arvind Kejriwal of insulting the Purvanchalis in Delhi, the later on Friday hit back saying that it was the former which had insulted those living in Delhi from Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that it was the BJP which had called people living in Purvanchal region as Rohingyas and Bangladeshis. He added that the the ruling party in BJP was only trying to fight for the rights of Purvanchalis.
