A pile of lies: Six fake narratives that Pakistan tried to set in its press briefing

New Delhi: Pakistan army spokesperson Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Sunday, spoke as many as five lies. These even as Pakistani forces were severely dealt with by Indian armed forces, as they unsuccessfully tried to attack various locations in India with drones.

Indian armed forces dismantled almost all Pakistani drones, which targeted at Indian military and other establishments. The forces also strongly replied after Pakistani violated the ceasefire again and again. Pakistani forces even targeted schools in Jammu and Kashmir.

A series of lies at Pakistan’s press conference

In his press conference, Chaudhry claimed that the Pakistan Army is professional and strongly abides by the orders of the elected government. It is noteworthy that claims made by Pakistanis totally fall. It is a known fact that since Pakistan became a separate country in 1947, Pakistani forces have dictated terms in the country. Pakistan has seen as many as four dictators since coming into being who are – Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan, Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, and Pervez Musharraf.

It is also a well-known fact that the Pakistan Army has dictated terms in political developments in the country, even in terms of government formations. They even dictated terms on the Kashmir issue and have continued fanning trouble by encouraging terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the media further, Chaudhry claimed that Pakistan is celebrating peace after the ceasefire declaration with India. “ You go to the cities and towns of Pakistan, everyone is celebrating peace.” The truth however is extremely different. Pakistani people are feeling ashamed of their army’s deeds. While Pakistan made a fake claim that India targeted its civilians, the truth is that various photos have emerged showing Pakistani army officials taking part in the burial of terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor, launched by India on May 7, which further indicates the nexus between the army and terrorist groups in Pakistan.

During the briefing, Pakistan officials resorted to further lies by claiming that Indian drones were detected through radars the moment they their Pakistani territory and the event before that. Importantly, drones are a kind of radar that cannot be tracked even by the best of radars across the globe.
Last but not least, Chaudhry went on to claim that Pakistani submarines are in good condition. Again, it was a major lie as only one submarine is functional and four others are getting repaired.
