  • 200g paneer cubes
  • 2 tbsp hung curd
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

How to make: 

  1. Marinate paneer cubes with hung curd, spices and lemon juice for 1 hour.
  2. Air fry the marinated paneer at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare a hung curd dip to serve along with Paneer tikka and enjoy.

2. Baked beetroot and spinach kebabs

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiled and mashed beetroot
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tbsp roasted chickpea flour
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make: 

  1. Mix mashed beetroot, spinach, besan and spices to form a thick dough.
  2. After mixing form small tikkis out of it and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  3. Prepare a curd and mint dip to serve and enjoy these kebabs.

3. Baked multigrain chakli

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup multigrain flour
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • Salt
  • Water to knead

How to make: 

  1. Mix sesame seeds, ajwain, multigrain atta, salt and knead a dough.
  2. Shape spirals for chakli and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  3. Serve as a rotational snack for parties.

4. Carrot and oats Idli

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup semolina
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp curd

How to make:

  1. Mix oats, sooji, carrots, mustard seeds, and curd to form a thick batter.
  2. Pour in the steamer.
  3. Steam the idlis for 15 minutes on low flame.
  4. Serve along with peanut or coconut chutney for a flavourful evening.

5. Oats and jaggery granola bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup chopped almonds and walnuts
  • ¼ cup flaxseeds
  • ½ cup jaggery syrup
  • 1 tbsp ghee

How to make: 

  1. Toast oats, nuts, and flaxseeds in ghee for some time.
  2. Pour in the pan of jaggery syrup and stir continuously.
  3. Place the mixture in a tray and let it cool, spreading evenly.
  4. Cut into bite-sized pieces to enjoy as a healthy sweet for a Diwali party.

These five healthy Diwali snacks not only keep the festive spirit alive but also provide a guilt-free indulgence for your guests.
