Amidst the political upheaval in Bihar, the game of bet and counter bet between political parties is also going on. It is believed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can resign from his post today and form NDA government with BJP today itself. Meanwhile, RJD, in a new move, has tried to take credit for the good work done by the outgoing government by publishing full page advertisements in the newspapers of Bihar.
In the advertisement, all the big works that have been done and decisions taken during Tejashwi’s tenure as Deputy Chief Minister have been mentioned.
At the top of the ad it is written, “Thank you Tejashwi, you said, you did and you will do.” Below this, major policy decisions taken during the Grand Alliance government like providing more than 4 lakh government jobs, making caste based reservation and increasing reservation to the limit of 75 percent have been mentioned. Apart from these, the advertisement mentions giving the status of state employees to the employed teachers, making arrangements for water drainage system in cities, construction of roads, bridges, bypasses, Medal Lao Job Pao Yojana, Tourism, Sports and IT Policy, Tola Sevak, Vikas Mitra, Shiksha Mitra. Tejashwi Yadav has been thanked for increasing the honorarium of Talimi Markaz and for the development and big projects. This advertisement has been printed on behalf of Rashtriya Janata Dal, Grand Alliance family.
JDU leader Neeraj Kumar has hit back at this advertisement of RJD and said that RJD’s habit has been to take land in exchange of job. She wanted to do the same thing this time too, but Nitish Kumar did not allow her to do so. Neeraj Kumar alleged that RJD had also tried to play games in the Revenue Department through transfer-posting, which Nitish Kumar did not allow to happen.
