In the International Competition, the drama Korea-Khitan War bagged the award for Best Series, standing tall among a competitive line-up. O’PENing: Bruised Like a Peach claimed the title of Best TV Movie, reflecting the show’s creative storytelling. The legendary Song Kang Ho wowed audiences once again, earning the Best Actor award for his role in Uncle Samsik. Meanwhile, the Best Director award went to Park In Je for his work on the hit series Moving, an emotional rollercoaster that’s captivated audiences worldwide.

Korean Drama Competition Category

K-dramas continued their reign, with Han Hyo Joo’s Moving and Kim Seo-hyun’s Queen of Tears winning the Outstanding Korean Drama award. These two shows have garnered a global fanbase, making them standout winners of the night. The Netflix hit Mask Girl also made waves, as its stars Ahn Jae Hong and Yeom Hye Ran took home the Best Actor and Best Actress titles for their powerhouse performances.

Adding a musical touch, SEVENTEEN’s BSS grabbed the Outstanding Korean Drama OST award for their track “The reasons for my smiles”which featured in Queen of TearsThe song added emotional depth to the storyline and was a fan-favorite throughout the series.
