Mumbai:  On the occasion of Independence Day, Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah (General Secretary) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated that India will emerge as a lighthouse to end the darkness engulfing the world.

Speaking at a gathering held at Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, Keshav Srushti, in Uttan Village, Bhayander (West), Thane, Hosabale emphasised the importance of an awakened society in safeguarding freedom.

“It is essential that society remains constantly awakened to preserve our independence,” he remarked.

Expressing a vision for India’s global role, he said, “India aspires to become capable and empowered to serve the entire world.”

Further underlining India’s global responsibility, Hosabale added, “accept today’s challenges, enhance our capacities and capabilities to become Vishwa Guru to serve global communities.”

The remarks come amid growing discourse on India’s cultural and spiritual leadership in a rapidly changing world.
