In search of knowledge: Patanjali University teams up with three Indian universities to promote research, revive Indian values

New Delhi: As part of its effort to expand in the field of education and research, Patanjali University has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with three renowned universities in the country, highlighting its commitment to pursue knowledge.

The Managing Director of Patanjali Ayurved, Acharya Balkrishna took to X (formerly Twitter) and made the announcement. He highlighted the joint effort to work together in the fields of education, Ayurveda, health, yoga, skill development, and Indian traditional wisdom. It shows the effort of Patanjali to revive Indian heritage and culture in these fields.

Which universities are joining hands with Patanjali?

The three universities which have teamed up with Patanjali are Hemchand Yadav University in Chhattisgarh’s Durg, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University in Madhya Pradesh’s Chitrakoot, and Raja Shankar Shah University in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara.

Important personalities in the field of academics graced the MoU signing event including Professor Indra Prasad Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Raja Shankar Shah University; Professor Bharat Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University; and Dr. Sanjay Tiwari, Vice Chancellor of Hemchand Yadav University.

They appreciated Patanjali’s effort to revive the ancient traditions of our country and its growing role in the development of India. Also, they acknowledged the commitment of their respective universities to promote Ayurveda, yoga, and Indian philosophical thought which will resonate with the educational requirements of today’s age.

Acharya Balkrishna has said that this collaboration is more than a formal agreement and called it a collective effort toward a larger mission of national reconstruction through indigenous knowledge. According to Balkrishna, the initiative is a part of the “Rishi Kranti,” “Yoga Kranti,” and “Shiksha Kranti”, revolutions led by the sages in the fields of knowledge, yoga, and education. He stated with utmost confidence that this will benefit millions of people in India. Thanks to the MoUs, all four institutions will be able to collaborate on research, promote educational outreach, conduct joint training programs, and share academic resources, with Indian values and practices playing a prominent part.
