Radhika Ojha wins National Sports Excellence Community Trailblazer Award 2025 at 16

New Delhi: Radhika Ojha, a student at Shiv Nadar School was awarded the National Sports Excellence Community Trailblazer Award 2025, on Monday. The prize is awarded to individuals who have introduced inclusive initiatives to transform communities. She was awarded the prize for her considerable contribution in promoting adaptive sports for differently-abled athletes stands out as a beacon of hope and change.

WHO IS RADHIKA OJHA?

Radhika is a 16-year-old student aiming to bring a change in  society by creating opportunities for the differently-abled in sports. Balancing the rigours of her International Baccalaureate studies with impactful community service, she has led multiple initiatives focused on sustainable development and social equity. Over the past 3–4 years, Radhika has relentlessly championed the cause of differently-abled athletes, advocating for greater participation, access to resources, and emotional support. Her work challenges the prevailing misconception that physical disability equates to inability. “Our society needs to stop treating sports for the differently-abled as something unusual. It should be common—just like any other sport,” she passionately advocates.

Apart from sports, Radhika is also interested in astronomy and scientific exploration, with a commitment to bring innovation and social change.
