PM Modi takes MAC meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Doval present

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval. The meeting was held at the PM’s residence in Lok Kalyan Marg. Earlier in the day, Shah held a meeting of the Multi-Agency Centre (MAC).

The meeting comes amidst heightened vigilance across the country, following the tensions with Pakistan. MAC which works under the Intelligence Bureau (IB) was created in the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks with an aim to share timely inputs among various stakeholders involved in law enforcement.
