Pahalgam terror attack: Army launches Operation Sindoor, says ‘Justice is Served’

New Delhi: The Indian Army, in the early hours of Wednesday, launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied  Kashmir, following the April 22 terrorist attack on a group of unsuspecting tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

“Justice is served. Jai Hind!” the Indian Army wrote in a post on X.

“A short while ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, striking terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where attacks against India have been orchestrated,” the Ministry of Defence said in a statement. “Our actions have been focused, measured, and non-escalatory. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in both the selection of targets and the method of execution,” it added.
