New Delhi: In the wake of the Pahalgam tragedy, when people across India and the world have united to condemn terrorism, it is truly shameful to witness Congress, under the leadership of Shri Rahul Gandhi, using social media to disrespect and undermine the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi.

At a time when our nation faces rising tensions with a neighboring country, Congress, as the opposition party, should have stood in solidarity with the government. Instead, they have chosen to echo the voice of Pakistan and terrorists, completely abandoning any sense of responsibility. It is clear that the thoughts of Pakistan’s ministers and Congress leaders are disturbingly aligned.

It is an embarrassment that Congress leaders continue to speak in favor of Pakistan and against India. The fact that Pakistan is retweeting Congress leaders’ posts only highlights the dangerous and inappropriate nexus between them.

Since the Pahalgam incident, Indians across all sections have been enraged by Pakistan’s behaviour. PM Shri Narendra Modi has unequivocally sent a message that we will give Pakistan a firm response. Yet, Congress, forgetting their duty to stand by the PM, the government, and the Indian Army, has chosen to speak in the language of terrorists. This is an act of utmost disgrace.

The recent action of Congress defacing the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s image and posting “Gaayab” is a direct reflection of the descent of the Congress party into that of the local voice of an enemy country.

Not long ago, pro-Pakistan terrorists released an image of Lord Shiva’s head being desecrated and their flag being flown. This was an insult to the Hindu community and the religious and spiritual beliefs of all Indians. Today, Congress has followed suit by depicting the Prime Minister’s image in the same disgraceful manner. After seeing this, the people of India are left to wonder: Is Congress following Pakistan’s orders, or is Pakistan following Congress’s instructions?

On one hand, Shri Rahul Gandhi and Congress are requesting a joint session of Parliament, while on the other, they are dishonoring the Prime Minister and undermining the unity of the nation. This is a direct reflection of their misguided priorities.

Recently, Karnataka CM Shri Siddaramaiah declared, “We are against war with Pakistan.” Senior Congress leader Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar and several others have also made anti-national statements. Just yesterday, the Kerala Congress Party tweeted that “there is no chance of terrorists entering Pahalgam, just 200 km from the border.”

These actions demonstrate Congress’s extreme irresponsibility. They are supporting Pakistan while attacking the dignity of India and undermining the morale of our armed forces. Shri Rahul Gandhi, too, has often traveled abroad to speak against India’s constitutional institutions, showing the Congress Party’s complete disregard for the nation and its values.

Time and again the Congress party, under the leadership of Shri Rahul Gandhi, has undermined the nation’s sovereignty in their blind hatred for PM Shri Narendra Modi. PM Modi’s commitment to the nation and its security remains unwavering.

While Shri Rahul Gandhi uses foreign trips as an excuse to disappear for days on end, the people of India know well that PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has dedicated the past 25 years to the service of the country, without a single break, celebrating festivals with soldiers, and sanitation workers.

When news of a terrorist attack reached the Prime Minister, he immediately sent Home Minister Shri Amit Shah to Pahalgam to take stock of the situation. He further curtailed his overseas travel and returned to India immediately. This act of leadership and commitment to the nation speaks volumes about his dedication.

As the entire country unites in the fight against terrorism, Congress’s actions show no difference from Pakistan’s. I condemn Congress’s behavior once again and urge them to act with responsibility and respect towards the nation’s welfare.
