New Delhi: Two women were nabbed by local residents while trying to dump a beheaded body in Ganga near Kumartuli Ghat in Kolkata on Tuesday morning. The body was packed in a trolley bag.

The duo was allegedly trying to throw the trolley bag into the river. As their behaviour seemed unusual and suspicious to the locals, they were prompted to intervened and raise objections. When the bag was opened, a beheaded woman’s body was found inside it.

After this, the locals informed the police. The police rushed to the spot immediately and arrested the two women. The trolley bag was also seized. The police have started investigating the entire incident.
