As per the arrangement, 22 Z category security personnel were deployed for her safety, along with an escort team and eight static armed guards. This development came after similar high-level security arrangements were earlier provided to former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has Z+ category security.

The ceremony is being seen as an opportunity to showcase the unity and strength of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Following the swearing-in, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address the gathering.

The event will also include a photo session and a group meal, serving as a platform to strengthen ties among NDA leaders.

Rekha Gupta will be the fourth woman CM of Delhi. Before her, BJP had given the command of the CM post to Sushma Swaraj, Congress to Sheila Dixit and Aam Aadmi Party to Atishi.

Earlier, Rekha Gupta spoke about the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, saying that it is the responsibility of all 48 MLAs in the capital to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. She assured that all promises, including financial assistance for women, would be fulfilled. She added, “By March 8, 100 percent of women will receive financial assistance in their accounts.”
